With our new update in Monitis Calendar we have just made it easier to set up dates on your monitors. If you need to select a number of specific dates for a monitor, you will no longer be required to spend a lot of time making these changes from your module’s option menu anymore. The new calendar  allows you to select your first date (“Today” or “Specific Date”), and then you can use the convenient arrows to navigate back and forth directly from your module.

We’re extending our MySQL uptime monitor to better support databases on shared hostings. Now you will be able to monitor your hosted database even if you don’t have access to the entire MySQL server. To set up your monitoring, just provide a host IP, port, username, password and database name and that’s it, you are done.

Monitis is happy to announce a new feature that will allow you to see the health status of our global network of locations where we perform our monitor services from. You can use this check in analyzing alerts you have received from us by assuring yourself it wasn’t caused by a server outage on our network. To get started simply go to the Tools on your dashboard and click on “Monitis Health Status”. Please note that the feature is available only for paying customers.
