We are working hard to improve the user experience of our users and today we are announcing the launch of three new features, that we believe will improve your user experience with Monitis. The first new feature lets users export their tests configuration to a CSV file. The exported file contains basic information about user’s tests such as test name, URL, testing locations, test frequency for each location, etc. It also contains maintenance periods and notification rules defined for individual tests as well as those defined for groups of tests. In order to do this, you will need to do the following:
Sometimes, just seeing the last state of your transaction monitoring is not enough and you need to get the full picture of your transaction monitoring. Until now, these two views were only available in separate windows, which made it hard to keep an eye on both the monitor’s last state and the information about the average uptime and response time.
With our second new feature, we have improved the view of your transaction and full-page monitors by combining the two views in one window. This will allow you to have a faster and better understanding of Transaction and Full page monitors by having snapshots and charts side by side.
The third new feature is an update of on-demand or ad-hoc reporting. Before, you could schedule reports for specific periods of time and get reports according to the dates you had set up in the system. From now on, you can view reports of any period, whenever you wish by simply clicking on Reports> Ad Hoc reports. This feature has always been around, but it wasn’t very well exposed, so we’ve made it more visible. A new dialog box appears asking you to name the report. After you have named the report, select the date range and the format of the report (HTML, PDF, or both).
